He then attended Brigham Young University where he majored in Exercise Science. Following his undergraduate studies, he spent 2 years working as a Personal Trainer and Health Coach; he saw first hand the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and became interested in preventative medicine. His interest in medicine intensified with several health complications in family members. He attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Residency training at the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Provo.
